Despite experiencing a tough year, I have been blessed to be able to write through it all and have two picture books coming out next year, Moldilocks and the 3 Scares, illustrated by David Rodriguez Lorenzo (Sterling, 8/2019) and Let's Eat - Mealtimes Around the World, illustrated by Parwinder Singh (Beaming Books, Fall 2019). So while it's not easy, it can be done.
In an effort to pay that forward and inspire those who need a push, inspiration, or just an idea to run with, I have created the 12 Days of Christmas - Write Christmas Challenge.
Each and every day of the 12 Days of Christmas (Starting December 25, 2018 and running through to January 6, 2018) I will share writing tips and insights and provide a writing challenge! While this challenge is primarily for picture book writers, it can be adapted for writers of poetry and chapter books, as well.
